Nourish ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Inner Thoughts LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Nourish: AI Food Scanner app ("the App") and website at eatwithnourish.com.
Information We Collect
When you use Nourish, we collect the following information:
Account information: name and email address when you create an account
Health and nutrition data: food logs, calorie intake, macronutrient data, weight entries, and water intake that you voluntarily enter
Photos: food images you capture within the app for nutritional analysis. These images are sent to OpenAI's API for processing and are not stored permanently
Usage data: how you interact with the app, including features used and session duration
Device information: device type, operating system version, and app version
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Provide and improve the Nourish app experience
Analyze food photos and return nutritional data
Track your progress toward your health goals
Send account-related notifications
Respond to support requests
Data Storage
Your account and health data is stored securely using Supabase. Food photos are processed by OpenAI's API and are not stored on our servers after analysis is complete.
Third Party Services
Nourish uses the following third-party services:
OpenAI — for AI-powered food analysis
Supabase — for secure data storage
RevenueCat — for subscription management
Firebase — for push notifications
Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.
Subscriptions and Payments
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any payment or credit card information. Subscription management is handled through your iPhone Settings.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as required to operate the app (listed above) or as required by law.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@eatwithnourish.com.
Children's Privacy
Nourish is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
